Lymphatic reconstruction surgery

Lymphatic reconstruction surgery is designed to either prevent or treat lymphoedema, a chronic swelling that can occur when lymphatic channels are disrupted, most often after breast cancer treatment.

Working in close collaboration with specialist breast and oncology surgeons, Mr Khan performs LYMPHA procedures at the time of axillary lymph node clearance to help reduce the risk of lymphoedema developing.

For patients who already have lymphoedema, he also offers lymphaticovenular anastomosis (LVA), a supermicrosurgical technique that connects lymphatic vessels directly to tiny veins, helping to restore drainage and alleviate swelling.

Each procedure is performed with exceptional precision using microsurgical techniques, offering patients access to state-of-the-art care in London’s leading private hospitals.

I came to Mr Khan after a failed journey with other surgeons. It was worth every single second of time, energy, travel, and cost. I am beyond thrilled with my results, but the biggest change you will see, is not just the surgery I’ve had, but the smile it’s left on my face.
